Capital Hoedown

 One of my Co-workers just ask me if I wanted to go to the capital hoedown 2011, the largest country music festival in North America. I am pretty excited, its a 3 day festival, but I will be only going the Friday to see these great performers!

HONEYMOON :)

This February Matt and I along with another couple (who happen to be our maid of Honor and Best man) will be heading out on a cruise to celebrate our honeymoon that we never took.We are excited to report that we finally have time and the money that we can spend on us to take that special trip after the wedding. We did have it plan for the winter after we got married but , we got pregnant right away and than the mill that Matt had been working at closed there doors for good. So now 3 1/2 years later we are finally finical able to take that trip of a life time, and who better to go with than the people who stood by us on that day. We were thinking of just going to Jamaica but we got a amazing deal on a cruise.

One Proud Mama

What a proud day today was, just minutes ago......WALKER PEED ON THE POTTY!!!

I know and understand that it could have been a one time thing!! But I walk into the bathroom where Matt was getting Walker ready for his bath. He had just finish changing his diaper, and place him on the Potty. I sat down on the toilet and ask him " Are you going to go pee on the potty like Mommy" Walker respond with a YA!!! and there he went!!! 

Very proud of him!!! Hope it continues!!!

Any ideas to keep it going!?

2 Years ago today....

Dear My lil man,
        Mommy always wanted to write you a letter and what better  day, than the day you were born.
Two years ago Mommy was the most excited and nervous person in the world! There were alot of people waiting for you to come. It was a long wait for you! After months of visits to the fertility doctors to see what Mommy and Daddy could do to make our dreams come true, October 2008, we were very excited to let everyone know that you were on your way. Daddy didn't believe me at first. June 26, 2009 ( you were due June 18th), Mommys Water broke, we were so excited that the day had finally would come, you were on your way!  You had a mind of your own, the way mommy saw it, you were trying to tell me, "Mom I broke your water, now its time to come and get me!". After 21 hours of labour, the Dr came in and told me, "Sorry Sheri but you are only 5cm, we are going to call in the team". I was upset that I wasn't going to be able to exprince the natural birthing exprince, but I was also excited no more pain and I would soon be able to meet my baby boy.

My world had changed . I gave birth to a handsome "BIG" boy. You came into this world weighing  in at 10lbs and 3oz, I think you wanted out this way because you would have probably killed me the other way.
The first week at home was really tough on  Mommy and Daddy.Mommy never really relized it, until Daddy said something to me, because he was scared. Mommy suffered post paturm depression. Thankful, it only lasted a week. Because when Mommy snap out of it. She was head over heels for you! She couldn't get enough of you and couldn't believe that she felt the way she did before than.
The last two years Walker you  have been the best two years of my life.
Watching you grow and watching you  learn  new skills just blows my mind. How you remind me of your daddy blows me away! The interest you two have in commin.I just wanna say that, Mommy loves you so much and there is nothing that could ever come between us, you were the best gift that anyone could every give me. I could never ask for anything more! You are perfect in my eyes and you always will be. Nobody could ever explain a mother love to me and honestly I can still never explain to anyone how much I love you!!!!
You are my world and I would never change one thing about the last TWO years. If I did, we wouldnt be were we are today

I confess...
   That I am going to fill a bucket full of tears this weekend. Walker will no longer be a baby and now  begin his toddler years as we celebrate his 2nd birthday with two birthday parties this weekend for him. (Turns TWO on Monday June 27th)

   I wasn't looking forward to watching my sisters 3 kids for 3 hours on my day off. But now I am loving it! Couldn't ask for a better day off. Love these kids to death!!! LOVE YOU EMMA JOSH AND CONNOR!!!!  Hey You can get away with more stuff at Aunties house!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!!!

We are BOTH very proud parents!

This morning I got a text from one of my best friends. " Have you seen the front Picture of The Equity?" ( Which our town local newspaper). I told her no and said please tell me what it is, and she wouldn't . She said I would have to wait. Man did this day go by slow, I just wanted to know what was on the front page.

Well first off I am sad to report I cant post the picture from the equity since i don't get it on line. But I am happy to report that Walker made it on the front page. Supporting the Relay for Life! It is the sweetest picture in the world and Matt and I cant stop telling people about it! If someone might have a digital copy of it, i would post it  in one of my later post!
Telling you I will cut it out and I will be  putting it in his baby book for one of his first!!!!

Just wanted update my progress on my weight Journey!

I have a total loss of 15.5 pounds! Still lots more to go!

Breakfast

So while I have been doing weight watchers. I have done well I have lost 12 pounds in total. I know I can do better, but the hardest part for me, is breakfast! I am not a breakfast person to begin with. But i would like to find something I could eat on the go that would be low points and filling! Is there anyone out there that can help me with this! I enjoy eating on my way to work. Because really could go to 9 before I am hunger, and I can eat a banana than. But in an hour I am hunger again! So any advice or help would be great!

Happy Belated Birthday!

I wanted to write a post about the man of my dreams.
I am  (truthfully) One of these wives that never has to say that there husbands, doesn't do the dishes, never does any laundry, or never pick up after themselves. I married my best friend and amazing man! I could  never ask for anything better! His pretty easy to please too, all he wanted for his birthday was a steak supper with me and Walker. And since its that time of the year and he needs it. He got a baseball bag. Nothing fancy but that would mean the world to him. Something he needed and can use every Wednesday and Thursday nights!

BIG BOY NOW

I am so proud to report that Walker is bottle free. His been doing awesome. He cries a little when we put him to bed and when we ask him if he is ready for dodo time, he says no and cuddles up right with us. But I am supper proud of him. My little man is growing up!

This just a small little post but just wanted to update you all on how well he is doing!

Weekend Fun

What a great weekend this has been!
 To start off the weekend. Thursday night was weigh in at weight watchers! And I am proud to say that I lost 10 pounds all together  now. I am so proud of myself, I really didn't think I could do this and I have! its 5% of what I am planning on loosing and can't wait to keep on going! It so much fun to see the pounds drop off!
I know I said I would post a pic a pic of me when  every time I have lost 10 pounds but I haven't gotten around it. But I will be posting pics of myself this weekend so maybe you will be able to notice something!

Friday night I had a girls night with a great bunch of girls! I forgot my camera, and didn't get a pic of the gang of us. It was a lot of fun shopping and eating!

Saturday. I had tones of fun it was a spacial little boys 3rd birthday. Its W's best friend! They are inseparable!
We went to Tubes & Jujubes! It is awesome, Its a Family fun center. Slide, tunnels, balls, everything can imagine it is here. The boys love it! I think us moms and Auntie did too. It was great morning for all. And great times with friends! Something I will plan again!

To Buy or Not To Buy!

So Matt and I have decided that is time that we upgrade our cell phones!

Well Matt needs one since he is in the city all the time with work and its very hard to reach him! I also need one since I travel lots and seem to be always looking to call someone for something.

At first I didn`t really care what I got, but than Matt started talking about a Blackberry, a friend he travels with has one and Matt really likes it! So than I got interested in a Blackberry, and seems like everyone is getting one! But than last night Matt wasn`t sure anymore if that is the phone he wants or not! But I think I really want one! Well I know I really want one, And I honestly think so does Matt, he is always on the website checking them out!

 What does everyone else have or think is the best!?

Good News!

So this post is really going to be short but sweet!
I am exited that I have received my first star at WW, I lost my first 5 pounds, supper excited, thought I would only loose a pound, got on the scale and lost 2.5. I am way too excited, every time I see more than 1 pound lost I feel like a girl on Christmas morning. Someone even told me they can see it in some of my clothes that I wear! Any who just wanted to share my excitement!

And it Begins.....

So if your are a faithful followers of mine, you would already know that I have been back and forth with the idea of joining weight watchers. Well I finally made up my mind and joined! I joined 3 weeks ago.

3 Weeks ago I took this picture of me, when I weighed at  my heaviest 216 pounds!
(Don't mind the mess in the background and the dog!)

Great news is that my first week at weight Watchers I lost only .5lbs, but my second week I am proud to say I lost 2.5, which makes a total of 3 pounds gone off me, that's like 3 pounds of butter, gone and never will see again, until baby #2. But I do have 44 pounds to go before I am at my ideal weight! But I am giving myself till next February to loose at that but would like to loose 20 by Summer. I would love to hear words of encouragement or any idea how to keep the weight off! There are some blogs out there that are keeping me motivated!
